So I was over on YouTube falling into rabbit holes, and stumbled across this announcement by Gingerreadslainey, one of the authors I follow. She apparently co-hosts a periodic week-long romance read-a-thon with Riley Marie. The premise is to spend the week reading Adult Romances, focusing on various tropes. This challenge is in its third rendition, and this is the first I’ve heard of it, but I’m excited to give it a go!

#Smutathon is slated for June 3-9, 2019, so I’m especially happy I found it ahead of time. Each of the hosting ladies has provided lists of their recommended reading and additional information about the challenge in the videos I’ve linked above, so make sure to take a look if you’re interested.

They’ve also put together a reading bingo board to go along with their recommendations, which looks like loads of fun!

It looks as though Lainey and Riley will be reading mainly contemporaries for this challenge, but I’m thinking I should try to put together a historical recommendations list for those of us who prefer it, whatcha think?
